Still the “insane master of small lots”
In the beginning, we specialized in Rhone varieties.
Then, fun grapes like Trousseau Gris and Pinot Meunier popped up, and we couldn’t say no. We’re like kids in a candy store.
What remains the same since day 1:
Native yeast, no additions other than minimal S02, neutral barrel fermentation and aging, whole cluster, and unfined, unfiltered production. Cool climate, organic or old vine vineyards from small family vineyards.
Production has grown from 175 cases in 2010, to 5,000 cases, still all 25-400 case small lots.
Hence William’s nickname “insane master of small lots.”
